Apple Sauce

Ingredients

  • 30 Lbs Apples
  • 6 Cups Water Approx

Instructions

  1. Remove the stems and extra leaves

  2. Place apples with some water in a big enough pot to hold all of them

  3. Cook apples for approx 40 minutes, until they are soft and the skins are coming off

  4. We use the KitchenAid Fruit/Vegetable Strainer to make the apple sauce. Best investment ever!

  5. This the the cores and skin.

  6. You can use the water bath method to can the apple sauce.  We find 1 cup jars are the best.
