We had a neighbour over helping us with a tile project. He suggested we increase the size of the windows in our barn for the chickens and said he had a giant 11ft window we could have. So, we got into Whitenight (the latest old truck!) and headed over to his farm. We came back with the giant window that was actually three (double pane) windows in a big frame.
Honestly, these windows are better than most of the windows in our house! Our animals are very spoiled…
Kwesi took apart the window and the barn. It was a significant amount of work and the only part I had to do was help Kwesi lift the windows into place!
The chickens are happy. Kwesi is happy. Now to see if we can find double pane windows for our bedroom…
