This spring our pond was overflowing for a few weeks.  The water flow was slow but we realized it is eroding the back wall that holds the water in.

We built (with a bit of help!) a mini culvert out of left over roofing material.  The culvert was installed a couple of weekends ago (again with some help!)  Now the water will be able to flow to the other side of the pond without eroding so much.  We still have to figure out how to stop the water from creating a big hole on the other side of the culvert but we think that’s a solvable problem.
