It is with very heavy hearts that we have to share our sad news. Zakyra was attacked by coyotes yesterday afternoon. Despite heroic attempts and 7 hours of surgery by our vet, she passed away this afternoon. We had hoped that as such a tough dog, that she would be able to overcome her injuries.
We have shed enough tears for all of those who met her. Zakyra was a wonderful dog and her loss is felt deeply.
