We had seven trees felled last week. A couple were dead and all were very very close to our house. Way beyond Meghan’s chain saw skills! Fred used “come alongs” to make them fall in the right direction.
So, we have some before pictures and some after pictures. It should be noted that several of our friends helped out!! Laurra, Peter, Gill, mom… This was not a task that we could have completed on our own in a reasonable amount of time!
We also had a lot of fun getting our wood splitter working. We inherited the contraption (for it is a contraption) from the previous owners. It certainly works but man, you better have a LOT of time on your hands! One day we’ll post a video.
